My up to date Windows 10 machine wasn’t able to use this without downloading a driver. From the website, you’ll enter the model number which isn’t the big number on the box, it’s a more complicated model name. Use the help icon to identify where to find it. Download the driver from the UK site and the device works. Device works great, but is a little frustrating that driver install isn’t more straight forward. Right now I have it flat, instead of straight up and my signal went from mbps to, like I said, and even I’ve never seen higher than Mbps on my office desktop.

Of course I researched these like I was buying a used car, so you can take my word for it. Comes with driver CD. Put the disc in, run setup, plug the device into a USB 3.
