That means you would have to have bought AND used 5 distinct product keys. The low price and using the same key on 5 computers are both red flags that you have an illegally resold product key. The type of key you got can be set up with a limited number of activations. Or, another way these illegally resold keys work is that the people who sold the key to you also gave you an email account you all have to use install and activate the license.

It cannot be resold to anyone else. Sorry, bottom line, bad news. I strongly suspect you won’t be able to move the license to the new computer. In the future, as more of you can no longer use the keys you may want to consider switching to Microsoft Office Family. Or, you could ask around your friends and family to find out if anyone has.

A neighbour told me a couple of years ago, that he had ordered on-line a 5-user licence by a software? With this information a couple of other neighbours and I decided also to buy such a licence by the same company. Meanwhile my neighbour with the first 5-user licence told me, that he got a complete install of Office and not the possibility to choose which parts Word, Excel must be installed.

So, I have used this tool to make sets for each neighbour and also for myself. I have got the account of my neighbour, who did the order, but we have Dutch W10, so all information at screens is in Dutch. I don’t think it is usefull to make screendumps of these account login.

I wonder, why Microsoft has accepted the activations if the Office version is illegal as you think. At that time my advice to the neighbours was to install the free alternative LibreOffice.
