Universities are full of ordinary professionals making a LOT more money than individuals who are freelancing, or trying to start companies, or inspired by their own creativity and motivated to actually learn this stuff on their own instead of paying for the privilege of learning Photoshop?

The reason individuals using this software is forced to pay such high prices because millions of people pay almost nothing, for just one unjustifiable reason based on group affiliation.

And we also need to subsidize the countless extended relatives and friends who cheat the system. The craziness of the discount is a reflection of how desperate Adobe is these days.

It shows the extreme costs Adobe must absorb in an attempt to stay relevant with what they probably assume will be their future customer base. I doubt it will work once those future customers no longer get a discount and need to pay four times as much. How much lower would the price be if everyone actually paid the same? This price is unfair for unfair reasons and it stinks. My daughter signed up for a monthly access, when I canceled, they charged me a cancellation fee.

This was not obviously disclosed fully when we signed up and they would not refund the fee. What a shady business practice!!

They know they’re trying to mislead people, otherwise they wouldn’t disguise the real cost so well. This subscription model is already a scam, why do we let people get away with this crap? F U Adobe. Get fast answers from reviewers.
