I just downloaded the latest version of Word () and now I cannot print from Word. I can print from Safari, Adobe, OneNote, Excel. We’re listening. For example, My border should be a solid black frame, but instead prints in blocks with spaces or even dashes with spaces not solid. I feel it must be some setting that doesn’t have the correct box checked to link to my HP printer.

We can use VBA to do it per document yet we need to work for all new documents. It was suggested I use the latest drivers to test. I did that. It’s a Word issue latest version likely specific to user account as I can print fine from other computer with same specs without issue. In that window, type ActiveDocument. SetCompatibilityMode 14 and press Enter. Close the VBA Editor to return to the document. Click OK to exit.
